Barbara is the Founder and Director of Bureau Kensington Consulting. She brings over 25 years of experience as an organisational consultant and coach with deep expertise in organisational strengthening, leadership and shared leadership, governance, and human resources, all approached through a systems psychodynamic lens.
Barbara is also the founder of Impact for Community Insight, an initiative focused on fostering dialogue and transformation within communities. She is a guest of the Toronto Psychoanalytic Society, a member of the International Society for the Psychoanalytic Study of Organisations, and serves as an Associate Editor for the journal Organization and Social Dynamics.
Barbara holds a PhD in Adult Education from the University of Toronto, and lives in Toronto, Canada.
Anna is an organisational consultant and leadership coach with Bureau Kensington Consulting. She brings nearly a decade of consulting and coaching experience combined with 15 years of experience in senior leadership roles in feminist and human rights organisations, and expertise in leadership accompaniment, strategy development, and strategic communications.
Anna holds an MSc in Development Studies from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London, and lives in Cape Town, South Africa.
Tanya is a leadership coach and facilitates the leadership development program at Bureau Kensington Consulting. She has studied and worked in systems psychodynamic approaches to organisations for the past eleven years. Her previous work experience includes creating accessible learning environments in universities and providing community-based support for children and families.
Tanya is also the coordinator of Insight for Community Impact, a member of the AK Rice Institute for the Study of Social Systems, and has recently joined the Socioanalysis journal editorial team.
Tanya holds a PhD in Adult Education from the University of Toronto and lives in Toronto, Canada.
Cara manages the finances at Bureau Kensington Consulting. As a contract Chief Financial Officer and former Board Treasurer, she brings expertise in analysing and strengthening the financial positions and prospects of diverse organisations.
She also holds teaching certificates in Canada and the UK, and is an advocate for mathematics education reform. She previously served on the steering committee of the Fields Institute for Research in Mathematical Sciences Education Forum and co-hosted its annual Mathematics Education Research Day.
Cara holds a BSc in Mathematics from the University of Victoria and lives in Toronto, Canada.
Kavita is a researcher and data analyst at Bureau Kensington Consulting. She brings expertise in conducting in-depth research, analysing complex datasets, integrating multi-source data, and delivering actionable insights.
Kavita holds an MBA from ICFAI University, India, and lives in Toronto, Canada.
